Northfield Township Area Library — Community Expo & 30th Anniversary Celebration
Do you love Living Water? Want to help represent us to our community? Every year Northfield Township Area Library puts together a family fun fest and this year's is on Saturday, September 21. This year is extra special as we join in celebrating 30 years. We'll be alongside other partners and resources from the community. We will have a table from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM and we need volunteers! Let Stacey Parker know if you'd like to help.

Living Water Mothers of Preschoolers — Fall Market
Are you an artist, vendor, or crafter? We would love to have you participate in our Fall Market Event on Saturday, November 16 from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. This is a fundraiser to support Living Water Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS). The market will take place at Living Water Church, 200 Barker Road, Whitmore Lake 48189, with set up time available on Friday, November 15. There will be a bake sale and a special character appearance for the kiddos, so don’t miss the opportunity to display your wares! If you're interested in being a vendor, please contact Michelle Langley.

LWML Mites Collection Date - Sunday, September 29
Please mark your calendars and bring your filled mite boxes to the Welcome Center for our quarterly gathering of offerings to support LWML mission grants! For more information about national and local mission grants for 2018-2021, please go to lwml.org or lwmlmichigan.org. NOTE: We have newly designed mite boxes for both adults and children! You may request them from either Linda Murdock or Linda Strausbaugh. Our next in-gathering will be on Sunday, December 29 and/or Sunday, January 5.

 

 

Bible Study — Sundays at 9:00 AM
Is reading the Bible hard for you? Have you ever struggled to know how to read different parts of Scripture? We all have! Would you like to increase your understanding of the Bible? Here's your chance! We'll be studying a great book, How to Read the Bible for All Its Worthby Gordon Fee and Douglas Stuart. Our study will help you to better understand how the Scriptures might have been understood by their original audience and, from there, how to better apply them to our lives and world today. You can join anytime!

New Small Group — 1st and 3rd Mondays at 6:30 PM
Interested in joining a new small group? Our goal is to have a multi-age group so everyone is welcome! We will also be planning some small group service projects and fun outings throughout the year as well as participating in a family-based Advent Challenge. Location is flexible and childcare will be available.Contact Penny Armbruster or Philip Grimm  if you'd like to join or if you have questions. 

Men's Bible Study — Tuesdays at 7:00 AM

Women’s Bible Study — Wednesdays at 10:00 AM
This Wednesday, September 25, we will complete another Bible Study taken from the Lutheran Women’s Quarterly. We meet from 10:00-11:30 AM at 200 Barker Road. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Linda Murdock.

Living Water MOPS and MOMSnext
Mothers of Preschoolers is off to a good start! Our first meeting was held on Thursday, September 12 and we look forward to our next meeting on Thursday, September 26. We will enjoy a breakfast burrito bar, make Gratitude Jars, and learn about “The Importance of Female Friendships.” Our 2019-20 theme is “To The Full,” as we endeavor to Fear Less, Have Fun, and Find Our People! Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML) — Ann Arbor Zone “Pep" Rally
Put a little pep in your step! This annual fall get-together will be held at St. Paul Lutheran School in Ann Arbor (495 Earhart Road)! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 19, 9:00 AM-12:30 PM. Our speaker will be Rev. Gabe Kasper of University Lutheran Chapel (ULC) on “The Mission of God in a Secular Age.” Join us for worship, devotion, mission updates, and a look at how God wants to use us in today’s culture. Ingathering for Operation Christmas Child (Boys/Girls ages 5-9 and 10-14). Contact Linda Murdock for more information and to RSVP by October 17. Registration is $5.00 and includes lunch.
