This Sunday at Living Water - December 17
As we continue the season of Advent, we will spend the next two Sundays in a sermon series called “Waiting…” The season of Advent, which itself comes from the Latin word for “coming," is all about waiting for the coming of Jesus. The people of God eagerly awaited for God to enter into our world. He came in Jesus at Christmas. And now, the people of God eagerly await Jesus’ return. As we wait, God speaks to each of us. This week, we will be talking about “Waiting…for the End,” based on Revelation 21:1-7.

Advent Wednesday Worship - December 20
The season of Advent continues through December 24. Each Wednesday during Advent we will gather for dinner (optional) followed by worship at one of our sister congregations. On Wednesday, December 20 we will meet at 5:45 p.m. at Zukey Lake Tavern followed by an Advent worship service at St. Paul, Hamburg at 7 p.m. NOTE: Zukey Lake Tavern is located at 5011 Girard Drive, Pinckney 48169 and St. Paul is located at 7701 E. M-36, Whitmore Lake 48189

Christmas Worship Schedule - Sunday, December 24
Living Water Church will meet at Whitmore Lake High School on Sunday, December 24 at 6 p.m. to celebrate Christmas Eve together. NOTEThere will be no worship in the morning on December 24! Please invite your family and friends to Living Water on Christmas Eve. This will be a traditional candlelight service and a Nursery will be provided.

Christmas Worship Schedule - Sunday, December 31
On Sunday, December 31, Living Water will worship in a slightly different way. Instead of joining together at Whitmore Lake High School, you are invited to worship in your home on the first Sunday of Christmas. Harrison will provide a "home worship service" that will be available on Facebook and YouTube. It will include guided readings, prayers, discussion questions, suggested songs, and a video devotion. This is suitable for both family and small groups. We also encourage you to worship at one of our nearby sister congregations or while traveling. Our normal worship schedule will resume on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 10:15 a.m.

We have all been given gifts by the Holy Spirit that shape who we are and how we operate in the body of Christ. If you recognize yourself as having the gift of Service to others, here are current opportunities at Living Water:

Christmas Eve Adult Nursery Worker Needed!
We would like to provide childcare during our Christmas Eve service on Sunday, December 24 at 6 p.m. As an incentive, we are offering a small stipend to our volunteers in exchange for their services. At least one adult and one teen are needed. Nursery volunteers should report to the Welcome Table by 4:30 p.m. for room set-up in order to be available to parents who arrive early. All potential volunteers must apply to Linda Murdock no later than Sunday, December 17.
