This Sunday at Living Water - October 15
This Sunday we look at the question "What is the Great Commission, and how do I live it?" Come and learn what it means to be both a Sender and "the Sent!" Read pages 157-175 in the "Loved and Sent" book and Matthew 28:16-20.

Relief Efforts Task Force
Living Water, St. Luke, and University Lutheran Chapel have formed a task force to determine how we, the GLOCAL church, can best help with the relief efforts in Texas and Florida. To that end, we will connect with organizations that assist their communities, i.e. Northfield Human Services. We expect to assist by donations and hands-on projects. Additional details will follow. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Wendy Dignan or Sam Iaquinto.

Living Water Online Giving
If you haven't tried online giving yet, you'll like it! It's a simple, safe, and convenient way to make a one-time donation or set up recurring donations for the General Fund, Building Fund, or a special offering. In addition, it makes vacation giving a breeze! Online Giving can be accessed by scanning the QR Code provided on cards found in the Community Books or by going to On Line Giving. Questions? Contact Laura Bowen.

We have all been given gifts by the Holy Spirit that shape who we are and how we operate in the body of Christ. If you recognize yourself as having the gift of Service to others, here are current opportunities at Living Water:

Sweet Monday on Friday! - October 13
Sweet Monday goes on the road this month to the Regency of Whitmore Lake, where we will entertain local residents with song, devotion, treats, and Bingo! You are invited to spread good will and cheer to those receiving short and long-term care. 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. Regency is located at 8633 Main Street in downtown Whitmore Lake.

MOPS Caregivers Needed
Living Water Mothers of Preschoolers has kicked off its regular meeting schedule. They next meet on Thursday, October 12 at 200 Barker Road. We are in need of child caregiver volunteers in our MOPS Kids program. This is an opportunity to not only hold beautiful babies but to interact with toddlers and teach them about Jesus! Speak with Linda Murdock or Sandie Bodi if you are willing to serve.
