This Sunday at Living Water - September 16
This week we will embark on a 31-week sermon series that walks us through the entire Bible. Together we will look at Luther's Explanation of The First Article and Chapter 1 of The Story as we explore "Creation: The Beginning of Life as We Know It." Come and find out more!

Commissioning of Ministry Leaders - September 16
This Sunday during worship we will celebrate and say "thank you" to our many Ministry Leaders in their respective roles at Living Water Church. Please stay afterward for a "Meet and Greet" ice cream social in the North Wing. Learn how you can be involved!  Leaders will be available with information about their respective ministry areas.

NOTE: There will be no Flesh book study after worship this Sunday, September 16.

Sunday Prayer Ministry and Prayer Chain
Living Water has implemented a Sunday Prayer Ministry. Prayer Partners will be available at the end of the worship service to meet with anyone from the congregation in need of prayer. If you are interested in being a Prayer Partner, please contact Larry Armbruster at (517) 304-8166. NOTE: If you have a prayer request or would like to pray for others during the week, please enroll in the Living Water Prayer Chain.

The Story Books Available for Purchase
In preparation for the upcoming sermon series and midweek studies that start this week, you may now order a book at the Welcome Center. Books are $5 per each. You are welcome to read more about "The Story" and what you can look forward to this fall.

The Story Groups
If you would like to participate in a chapter-by-chapter discussion of The Story, there are several groups to choose from. Sign up at the Welcome Center for any one of the following:

Tuesdays: 6-8 p.m. Dignan Story Group (200 Barker)
Wednesdays: 7-9 p.m. Parker Story Group (Parker Home)
Wednesdays: 7-9 p.m. Schilbe Story Group (200 Barker)
Thursdays: 7-9 p.m. Armbruster Story Group (200 Barker)

Northfield Township Library Fall Fun Fest - September 22
Want to have fun and engage the community at the Northfield Township Library's Fall Fun Fest? Be sure to come check it out. This year the library is hosting a community health expo along with the petting zoo, pony rides, and games on Saturday Sept. 22 from 12:30-2 p.m. Want to share what it means to be part of Living Water at Living Water's table? Or want to meet and hear what the other organizations are doing to care for our community? Contact Stacey Parker for more information.

Sunday Pastries Needed
Donations are again needed to bring nut-free pastries to Living Water for serving on Sunday morning. Please sign up in the Break Room and bring donations in no later than 9:45 a.m. If you'd rather donate toward pastry purchases, there is an offering basket in the Break Room. Thank you!

Trunk 'R Treat is Coming! - October 28
Living Water has been asked to play a role in this community-wide fall festival on Sunday, October 28 from 3 - 5 p.m. 
Please let Stacey Parker know if you are willing to pass out treats and/or help with activities being staged at the park in downtown Whitmore Lake.
