This Sunday at Living Water - November 18
This week Pastor Harrison will continue our sermon series that walks us through the entire Bible. We will be covering chapter 10 of The Story, called "Standing Tall, Falling Hard." The text for this Sunday is 1 Samuel 8:4-11,19-22a (NIV). Come and find out more!

Sunday Adult Bible Study Resumes - November 18 
9 - 10 a.m. This class continues a chapter-by-chapter study of The Story based on the text study that is sent each week along with the weekly devotion. Please check your email every Monday morning for these materials! If you are not on our E-News list, please contact Linda Murdock.  

Sunday Prayer Ministry and Prayer Chain
Living Water has implemented a Sunday Prayer Ministry. Prayer Partners will be available at the end of the worship service to meet with anyone from the congregation in need of prayer. If you are interested in being a Prayer Partner, please contact Larry Armbruster at (517) 304-8166. NOTE: If you have a prayer request or would like to pray for others during the week, please enroll in the Living Water Prayer Chain.

Thanksgiving Eve Worship Opportunities - November 21
You are encouraged to attend worship on Wednesday, November 21 at any of our sister congregations. Services will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Luke in Ann Arbor and St. Paul in Hamburg. Please visit their respective websites for additional information.

The Story Groups
It's never too late to join a Story Group in order to discuss the latest chapter in The Story series! You may contact either of the hosts below if you have questions. Here are the groups that are currently meeting at Living Water Church:

Tuesdays: 6-8 p.m. Dignan Story Group (200 Barker)
Wednesdays: 7-9 p.m. Schilbe Story Group (200 Barker)

NOTE: The Schilbe Story Group will not meet on Wednesday, November 21 but will resume on Wednesday, November 28

 
 

Updates

  • A State of Church meeting was held on November 11. 40 people attended to review the Vision for Living Water and plans for implementation. You can review the presentation here. Please direct questions to¬†Harrison or Frank Murdock.
  • A Building Improvement Committee was chartered¬†on November 15.¬†If anyone in the congregation¬†has any questions or requests for the committee, please¬†contact Wendy Dignan, who is serving as Chairperson.

Living Water Family Event - Sunday, December 9
Save the Date! Living Water is hosting an opportunity for children and youth (under 18 years) to make a festive Candy House for the Advent/Christmas season. This event will take place in the North Wing and lunch will be served immediately after worship. Please RSVP with Linda Schilbe or call 248.437.0727. Everyone is welcome to celebrate and serve!

Turkeys Provided For Local Families!
Thanks to your generous donations, Living Water donated 13 turkeys to the Food Pantry at Northfield Human Services. 

NHS Needs Food Pantry Help In November
Are you available from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and/or 2-5 p.m. on Mondays or Tuesdays this month? If so, the NHS Food Pantry could use your help. Contact Sandie Bodi if interested, and please let Sandie or Stacey Parker know if you would like to learn about other opportunities to serve the community at NHS.

Giving Tree is Coming! November 18 - December 9
Living Water will again participate in the Adopt-a-Family program at Northfield Human Services. Our Giving Tree will go up on Sunday, November 18 when you are asked to take a tag(s) and buy a gift(s) for needy families in Northfield Township. Shopping/wrapping instructions are provided, and all gifts are due by Sunday, December 9. Please contact Sandie Bodi or Stacey Parker with questions.

"Simply Fun" MOPS Fundraiser - Through November 30
Living Water MOPS is partnering with Simply Fun Gameraising, which builds smarter kids and stronger families through play. Complete details are available at the Welcome Center.
