Living Water ignites, empowers and energizes people for a vibrant life in Jesus Christ. We believe that God created all that exists and chooses to be active within His creation. We are not alone. We have a compassionate creator who desires to love us and to be part of our lives. We believe that God ignites faith within us. Reality is that we fumble and do not live up to the expectations of others, or to our own expectations. Often, we can choose to hurt other people and even hurt ourselves but God does not leave us. His desire is to form a deep, loving relationship with us.

We believe that Jesus Christ lived among us, died, and resurrected from the dead so that we can be rescued from brokenness and made whole. We have the assurance that God can use us to draw others into a relationship with Jesus.

We believe that the Holy Spirit creates faith within us and energizes us to step out. The Spirit, who gives us purpose and direction for our lives, energizes us to do things that we never believed we could do. By the Spirit's power, we are people of passion and excitement.

We believe that the Bible is God's revelation of His nature, His love and His grace. All that we believe is found in, and true to, the Scriptures. As faith grows, so will a person's desire to read the Bible to explore God's relationship with His people.

We believe that God works in Baptism. The water and the Word are more than simply a physical washing (I Peter 3:21) or a symbolic act. Baptism has the power to cleanse the soul. In baptism, we received the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:6) who creates faith within us and encourages our growth in faith. This gift of baptism is offered to all people no matter what their age.

We believe that God works in Holy Communion. He gave this gift of His body and blood for the strengthening of our faith. He is present in the bread and wine; this gift is more than a representation of Jesus' body and blood. In Communion, we are united with Jesus and with other people who share in this meal in a true unity in Christ (John 17:20-23).

We believe that God works through His church. To learn more about what we believe at Living Water, please join us on Sunday morning for our Exploring Living Water group sessions.
